An unpleasant looking chap called Stephen Phillips MP told the House during today’s debate that, in the run up to his election (and this speaks volumes about their lack of judgement in such matters), many of his putative constituents in Sleaford & North Hykeham expressed concerns about high levels of immigration. In North Hykeham? It seems that he didn’t tell them that there was no need to elect him, to change the government or to change immigration policy. All they needed to do was cut their own bloody cabbages.
