Little Lord Fauntleroy

Irish peer in waiting George Osborne (latest in a long line of his family to sit in Parliament – who said that we’d got rid of our hereditary rulers. George’s family have been telling us what to do longer than the Hanoverians) seems to be creating some sort of successor to the old Soviet GOSBANK. Even though the state in the UK now controls three banks it appears that the Conservative government is either unable (or unwilling) to force them to lend to even their chums in business at low interest rates.
Instead, George is going to give his mates our money from the State Bank (or the Bank of England as it likes to be known) at knock down rates and presumably with no security.
His mates are also concerned that he won’t cut taxes. Hang on, why would they want that when they claim they’re making no money? Surely you only pay taxes on what you make? Can it be that they’re not telling the truth when they claim to be hard up? Surely not! I suggest George puts this one on the back burner.
